Booking and Payment Terms
Booking a Consultation
To schedule a consultation for any of our services, you can contact us via our website, email, or phone. A non-refundable booking fee may be required to secure your consultation, which will be discussed at the time of booking.
Payment Terms
For all design services, prop rentals, and custom furniture orders, we require a deposit of 50% of the total project cost upfront. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project or prior to delivery of any custom-made items.
Accepted payment methods include:
• Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard)
• Bank transfers
• PayPal
If payments are not made on time, we reserve the right to halt work on your project until the balance is cleared.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking will be eligible for a full refund of any deposits, excluding non-refundable consultation fees. After this period, cancellations will incur a 30% fee of the total project value. For custom furniture and prop orders, cancellation is not possible once production has commenced.
Custom Orders and Delivery
Custom Furniture and Art
We take great care in creating custom furniture and art pieces, and all items are handmade to the client’s specifications. Production timelines will be discussed and agreed upon prior to order confirmation. Please note that variations in color, texture, and finish may occur due to the handmade nature of the items.
Delivery
Delivery of custom furniture, art pieces, or rented movie props will be arranged based on the client’s location and project requirements. Shipping costs, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the client and must be paid prior to delivery. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping companies or factors beyond our control.
Prop Rentals and Sales
Prop Rentals
Our movie prop rentals are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. Rental terms, including the duration of use, condition requirements, and return dates, will be clearly outlined in the rental agreement.
Damaged or lost items will be the responsibility of the renter, and costs for repair or replacement will be charged accordingly.
Prop Sales
For clients wishing to purchase items from our prop collection, full payment is required at the time of sale. No items will be shipped until payment is received in full. All sales are final, and no refunds or exchanges will be offered unless the item arrives damaged.
Client Responsibilities
Accurate Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information related to their projects, including design preferences, measurements, and specific needs. Any errors resulting from inaccurate information will be the responsibility of the client, and additional costs may be incurred to rectify such issues.
Collaboration and Feedback
We value client collaboration and encourage open communication throughout the design process. Timely feedback is essential to ensuring projects are completed on time. Delays in feedback or approval of design elements may result in extended project timelines.
Intellectual Property Rights
All designs, concepts, drawings, and other intellectual property created by Maison Yves Francois remain the property of the company unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our intellectual property for commercial purposes without express permission.
Limitations of Liability
We strive to ensure the highest standards in all of our services, but we cannot be held liable for:
• Any damages resulting from delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
• Variations in custom furniture or art pieces due to the handmade nature of the materials.
• Client dissatisfaction arising from subjective opinions on design aesthetics once work has been completed.
Our total liability, in any case, is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the services rendered.

Site Content
All content on our website, including text, images, and graphics, is for informational purposes only and is owned by Maison Yves Francois. Unauthorized use of our content is prohibited.
User Conduct
When using our website, clients must refrain from illegal activity, including but not limited to hacking, sending viruses, or posting harmful or defamatory content. We reserve the right to terminate access to our site if these Terms are violated.
Dispute Resolution
If any dispute arises from the use of our services, both parties agree to attempt resolution through informal negotiations. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be escalated to arbitration in Ontario, Canada.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ontario’s courts.
